Who I Am
I am Nick, known professionally as DJ & MC Cola. I work with couples, families, companies, and private clients who need one person to handle the entertainment side of an event with care: DJ services, MC services, sound, lighting, microphones, event flow, and practical support before the celebration begins. My role is not only to play music. It is to help the room feel comfortable, keep people informed, and make sure the important moments happen at the right time.
My Story
Before moving to Naples, Florida, I spent many years working events in Chicago, where many clients knew me as Nick Kudryashoff. That time shaped a lot of who I am as a DJ and MC: I learned to work with different cultures, different generations, bilingual families, large weddings, private celebrations, and rooms where the right announcement at the right moment can change the whole flow of the evening. Today I bring that experience to Florida events while continuing to serve clients with the same personal attention and respect for every celebration.
My work grew from real events, real rooms, and real families. Every celebration teaches something: how a couple wants to be introduced, how a crowd reacts to a song, how a speech needs a microphone at exactly the right moment, how a bilingual family needs announcements that include everyone, or how a corporate event needs energy without losing professionalism. Over time, that experience shaped the way I work. I pay attention to the people first, then build the music and hosting around them.
Florida events bring together guests from many places and backgrounds. Some events are fully in English. Some include Ukrainian-speaking or Russian-speaking guests. Some need a bilingual or multilingual flow so older relatives, friends, coworkers, and younger guests all feel included. I enjoy that kind of event because it gives the celebration more personality. The goal is always clear communication, good timing, and music that matches the people in the room.
DJ & MC Experience
As a DJ, I help plan the sound of the event: ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner, reception moments, open dancing, corporate background music, birthday party energy, or private event playlists. I do not treat every event as the same playlist. The music should match the venue, schedule, age range, culture, and mood of the guests.
As an MC, I help guide the event without taking attention away from the people being celebrated. That can include introductions, announcements, speeches, first dances, family traditions, games, corporate transitions, birthday moments, and closing remarks. Good MC work is often quiet in the best way. Guests know what is happening, vendors know what comes next, and the host does not have to chase every detail.
Multilingual Events
I provide event support in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. Some clients need full multilingual hosting, while others only need selected announcements in more than one language. We can decide what makes sense during planning. For weddings and family events, this can help parents, grandparents, guests, and friends feel included. For corporate or private events, it can make the event smoother when the audience includes people from different backgrounds.
I also have experience working with audiences from many cultural backgrounds, including Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Lithuanian, Moldovan, and other communities. Every group has its own traditions, sense of humor, music preferences, family expectations, and event rhythm, so I pay close attention to the people in the room and adjust the hosting style with respect.
Sound & Lighting Services
Music and announcements only work when the room can hear them clearly. I can provide professional sound support, wireless microphones, ceremony audio, reception audio, and dance floor lighting when the event calls for it. Before the event, I review venue access, indoor or outdoor placement, power, setup timing, room layout, microphone needs, and any important moments that depend on sound. Lighting can also be added to support the dance floor and make the celebration feel more polished.
What Makes My Events Different
I focus on the full event flow. The music matters, but so do the transitions between ceremony and reception, dinner and speeches, announcements and dancing, vendor timing and guest comfort. I can support the timeline, coordinate entertainment cues, communicate with vendors, and help clients think through small details that often matter on the event day. When clients need additional help, I can also recommend independent photographers, videographers, decorators, planners, photo booth providers, venues, and other event professionals from my network when available.
What makes me different from many other hosts is simple: I always try to stand in the client’s place. I ask myself how I would want the DJ and MC to handle my own wedding, birthday, corporate event, or family celebration. That perspective helps me feel the room, understand the client’s priorities, and make decisions that support the event instead of distracting from it. I care about timing, tone, music, language, guest comfort, and the small moments that make a celebration feel personal.
A Little More Personal
I love swimming, shortbread cookies, the color red, summer, and the Canary Islands. I do not love being called a “tamada” because my work is DJ, MC, sound, lighting, and modern event support. And my favorite recommendation is a playful one: live your life so fully that others wish they had enjoyed theirs with the same courage.

These details help me prepare the music, microphones, announcements, sound setup, lighting support, and timeline cues with intention.
For some clients, the plan is simple: music, announcements, and a clean party flow. For others, the event may need ceremony audio, bilingual hosting, coordination with photographers and planners, special introductions, cultural music, or a clear transition from dinner into dancing. My job is to make those pieces feel connected, so the host can enjoy the event and guests can stay present in the celebration.
